جمهورية ألمانيا الإتحادية، هي جمورية إتحادية ديموقراطية، توحدت في العام 1990 بعدما قسمت في الحرب العالمية الثانية إلى ألمانيا الشرقية والمانيا الغربية، عاصمتها برلين،
تقع ألمانيا في وسط أوروبا، يحدها من الشمال بحر الشمال و البلطيق والدنمارك، من الجنوب سويسرا والنمسا، من الغرب فرنسا، لوكسمبورغ، بلجيكا وهولندا ومن الشرق بولندا والتشيك.
ألمانيا عضو في الإتحاد الأوروبي، وهي الدولة الأكثر عدداً وكثافة بالسكان في دول الإتحاد الأوروبي، يبلغ عدة سكانها تقريباً 81,75 مليون نسمة على مساحة 357,00 كلم مربع.
تقسم ألمانيا إلى 16 إقليماً إتحادياً (~ ولايات)، يتمتع كل إقليم بسيادته الخاصة و يشكلون مع بعض إتحاداً فدرالياً.
